Have you tried to invert colors in Windows 10 but could not find it? Microsoft removed the function and up until now there is no way for you to enable it.
For those with impaired vision, the normal colors on their computer screens can be difficult to view. Thankfully though, Windows has provided alternatives for those with impaired vision so they can use their computers with more ease and convenience.
For example, you change the settings on your PC to invert the colors displayed that will allow you to see things better. You can even enlarge the icons to make them easier to see and read.
In this article, we’ll be focusing on how to invert the colors in Windows 10 that will help you read the displayed text better, especially if you have issues with your vision. Check out the steps below.
1). Go to the Settings menu
The first step is going to the Settings menu which you can access by going to the Start menu whose button you can see on the lower left side of the screen. It will then prompt a menu where you can see the Settings.
You can also search for it in the search bar which is often found next to the Start button on the taskbar.
2). Go to Ease of Access
Once you’re in the Settings menu, you need to click on ‘Ease of Access’ which will take you to the settings where you can invert the colors of your screen.
3). Click on the Magnifier option
Upon clicking on ‘Ease of Access,’ you’ll see several options on the left. These will allow you to tweak the settings of your computer. To invert the colors, you need to click on the ‘Magnifier’ option on the left side of the window.
4). Turn on the Magnifier option
Once you’re in the Magnifier menu, you need to first toggle the switch for the Magnifier from ‘Off’ to ‘On.’ This will apply the changes you’ll make to the settings.
5). Check Invert Colors
Once you’ve toggled the Magnifier option to ‘On,’ next you need to do is scroll down and locate the ‘Invert colors’ options.
To invert the colors of your computer screen, check that option which will immediately apply.
Similarly, you can invert the colors by turning on the high contrast mode of your PC. To do this, you can return to the left control panel of the ‘Ease of Access’ menu.
Once you’re there, all you need to do is toggle the ‘High Contrast’ option to ‘On.’ This will prompt you to wait a few seconds while your computer recalibrates the display. Once it’s done, your display will now be in high contrast mode.
If you simply want to change your display to Dark mode, you can do so by accessing it in the ‘Personalization’ menu.
Upon clicking this option, it will take you to the ‘Personalization’ menu where you can change several settings such as turning your display into ‘dark mode.’
On the left side, you’ll find a control panel where you can see the ‘Colors’ option. Click on that and on the right side of the screen, you’ll see an option to change the color. On the drop-down menu of ‘Choose your color,’ select the ‘Dark’ option for the color and this will change your display to show the dark mode.
