What Materials Are Needed to Breed Cows?

Firstly, you need two bundles of wheat for the cows to eat. They look like this:

You need to harvest wood to create gates and fences for your farm enclosure. Your farm enclosure is where your cows will live. It will keep them safe.

You can make an enclosure inside or outside. But it’s easier to have one outside to lead the animals to.

The gates and fences should be 1.5 blocks high, to prevent intruders. The gates are usually made from wood. The wood for the fence automatically connects when placed close together. A right click opens or closes the gate.

• 3  Cows

Lastly, you need two cows. In Minecraft, the animals are female and male, so just get two cows.

To get cows, find a spawn egg to use, or summon one using a cheat code. To breed, the cows need to be close together
