The process to highlight on iPhone:
There are few ways to highlight your text on your iPhone. Each option works for a different intention. Follow any of the processes as your wish.
Option-01
This method only uses to highlight and copy the text. If you wish to do these things, follow the instruction:
- Open the iPhone.
- Go to Safari or other browsers to the iPhone. Visit that page where you wish to highlight.
- Press and hold the first word of the text where you want to highlight. You will see two bars will appear on both sides of the word. You can think of these bars as brackets. You can highlight any text or word inside these bars. You can also move these bars from left to right or up and down. By doing so, a small partition will appear on the bar.
- Now you can copy or select text from that partition and use it anytime or anywhere. You can also restore this text in the ‘Notes.’
Option-02
Suppose you want to use highlight for study. Using this method, you can markup text to highlight while reading and save the highlight page in the notepads. Maintain the instruction to use the form:
- Open the iPhone.
- Enter the Safari or other web browser on the iPhone. Visit that page where you wish to highlight.
- Click on the ‘Share’ icon. You should find this icon at the bottom of the page. Now scroll down a little. The ‘Markup’ option should now be visible. Tap that option. In the bottom portion of the display, a section will appear. In that section, you will see different types of markers. You can use any of this. You can change the marker colour as you wish. You can highlight anywhere in the display by using this ‘Markup’ option. If you need to slide up or down the page, place two fingers on the show and slide up or down whatever you want. You can also erase the highlight from the section.
- After finishing the highlight, click the top right blue icon. You share the file from here or save this page in the ‘Notes.’ For this, click on the bottom left ‘Share’ icon and choose the app where you want to send or save the file.
Option-03
By using this method, your iPhone will automatically highlight lines and also read the screen for you. Follow the process to use this choice:
- Open or unlock the iPhone.
- Press the ‘Settings’ app. Then tap the ‘General’ option, and after that tap the ‘Accessibility’ option. At last, press the ‘Speech’ sector. From there, start the ‘Speak Screen.’ Then switch on the ‘Highlight Content’ option.
- Click to the Safari or other web browser on the iPhone. Visit that page where you wish to highlight. To highlight the line and read aloud, place two of your fingers on top of the display and drag it down. It will automatically highlight the line and also read the screen. You can change the speed rate by using the controls.
