One of the most popular browsers these days, Google Chrome offers an easy way to pin your favorite website to your taskbar or Start menu. Check out how below.
- Open your Google Chrome and go to the website you want to pin.
* To navigate the site you want to pin to your taskbar, type in the browser's search bar the URL website. For example, you want to pin Google's homepage so type in "google.com" and hit enter. - Locate the three vertical dots on the upper right side of the browser.
- Click on those dots and select the "More Tools" option.
* Under that, you will find several options such as "Save page as" and "Clear browsing data." You can also find there your different browser extensions under the option "Extensions."
- Click the "Create shortcut…" option.
* By doing so, a pop-up menu will open wherein you can change your shortcut's name. This is also where you can see the option to open the shortcut as a window.
- Click "Create."

- First, make a desktop shortcut of your Firefox.
* You can do this either by dragging the app's icon from your Start menu to the desktop or by launching its file location. For the latter, you need to right-click the app on your Start menu and click on "Open file location."
* Doing so will open a File Explorer window where you can find the app. Right-click on the icon and choose the "Create shortcut" option. This will create a desktop shortcut for Firefox. - On your desktop, right-click the Firefox shortcut icon.
