Creating Web ex official account
- At first, open any browser on your computer.
- Now create a new tab go to the Cisco Web ex website. Click ‘https://www.webex.com/’ to go to the website.
- Click on the ‘Sign up free’ to create an account in Cisco Web ex.
- Now enter your email address and click continue.
- Enter a 6-digit verification code in the box to verify your email address.
- At this moment select your region and give your name & password. Now press ‘Continue’.
- Here you will be transferred to the dashboard of the web version of Web ex. You can also go to the page on the ‘https://web.webex.com/dashboard’ link.
- Now you have to upgrade Web ex to avail full feature. For this click on the ‘Upgrade Web ex’ located in the top right corner.
- Now fill up your Name, Phone Number, Country Name, Work email address, and the Purpose of the plan.
- Now fill in the captcha and click on the ‘Contact Us’ option.
- After that, Web ex will contact you to process the plan. After the creation of your company account, they will provide you a customized URL for your company like ‘companyname.webex.com’.
Using Cisco Web ex
Signing In
- First, go to your browser and create n new tab to open the sign-in page.
- Now go to the URL specially created for your company.
- Click on the ‘Sign In’ option from the top left corner of the homepage.
- Now enter your email address in the email address box. Make sure that your email address is registered under your company of the Web ex. Now click on the ‘Next’ button.
- If your email is registered under your company ID it will take you to the Password page. If your email didn’t register under the company it will show you an error message. Now type your password on the box and click on the ‘Sign In’ button to go to your dashboard.
Scheduling a Web ex meeting - At first click on the ‘Schedule a Meeting’ icon on the home page of the Cisco Web ex. Now meeting schedule page will appear.
- Write the Meeting topic and set the time of the meeting with its date and duration of the meeting. Then type the email address of the attendee. At last, click on the ‘Schedule’.
- Meeting details will be shown on your Web ex homepage. And all the attendees will receive the notification of the scheduled Cisco Web ex Meeting.
Starting a Cisco Web ex Meeting - It is the simplest job of the Cisco Web ex. At the meeting time in your room ‘Start Meeting’ option will be shown on the homepage of your Web ex. Now Click on the ‘Start Meeting’ under your image to start it.
Join a Meeting and connect to Audio & Video - To join a meeting look after the Upcoming Meeting Section from the homepage. Then click on the join button to see the meeting details.
