Adding Bitmoji to Android Keyboard
If you are using a third-party keyboard app on your Android, you need to change it to Google Keyboard to use Bitmoji. To add Bitmoji on Android
- Download the latest version of “Bitmoji” from the Play Store and install it.
- Open the “Bitmoji” app and log in with Email or Snapchat. To create a new Bitmoji account, tap on the “Sign up” option.
- Enter the Android Settings menu.
- Find an option that includes “Language & input” settings. It can be under “System” or “Additional Settings,” depending on your Android version.
- Tap on “Language & input.”
- Tap on “Current Keyboard.”
- Choose the “Bitmoji Keyboard” option.
- Now open WhatsApp or other similar apps that requires a keyboard.
- WhatsApp will ask to install Gboard to use the Bitmoji feature to type a text. Tap on the “GET GBOARD” option.
- Download and install the “Gboard” app. Open it and tap on “ENABLE IN SETTINGS.”
- Toggle the switch for “Gboard.”
- Tap on “SELECT INPUT METHOD.”
- Change the keyboard option to “Gboard.”
Finally, the Bitmoji will be linked to your Android keyboard. To access the customized emojis
- Open WhatsApp again and open the keyboard window.
- Tap on the G icon.
- Tap on the sticker icon.
- Tap on the Bitmoji Stickers icon from the lower section. Select any Bitmoji sticker and send it to other people.
On apps like Facebook, WhatsApp, or Instagram, you can send your Bitmojis with captions. However, other messaging apps that don’t allow you to paste a picture on the typing section won’t allow the caption feature.
Can You Add Bitmoji to Samsung Keyboard?
You can add Bitmoji to your Samsung Keyboard and here’s how
- Download and install the Bitmoji app.
- Open the Bitmoji app and log in with your account. Sign up to create a new Bitmoji account.
- Open any texting app like WhatsApp or Messenger and open the keyboard window.
- Tap on the sticker icon in the upper section.
- To add a sticker to your chat, tap on it.
