If you want to run Microsoft Publisher files in Windows 10, but unable to open the publisher file on your computer, then this guide will show you how to do it. Read on to find out more!
Microsoft Publisher was first released in 1991, making it one of the pioneer publishing applications introduced to users who want to create visually-appealing layouts and graphics for documents.
If you're one of those people who use it and it suddenly stops working, it’s likely that you can't open your publisher files unless you use these tools:
On the upper-left corner, simply click on File and select Open. You should be able to edit, print, and view your publisher file afterward.
Click File on the upper-left corner and select Open. Once you've selected your publisher file, you're free to view, edit, and print it.
Click Upload to find and select your publisher file.
You may also select your file from Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, and Dropbox by clicking their icons.
Then wait for the publisher file to be converted to PDF and download it within six hours. If you don't save the PDF within six hours and you don't have a copy of your publisher file, you will have to redo the publisher file from scratch.
Click on the "Select files" button and browse for your publisher file. You may also drag and drop your file below the "Select files" button.
Click Convert and wait for the PDF version of your file.
Your PDF file will automatically be downloaded to your Downloads folder when the conversion is done.
Drag and drop your publisher file below the Add Files button. You may also click on the Add Files button and select your file.
In the "Convert To" drop-down list, select PDF.
Tick "Email when done?" if you want Zamzar to send you a copy of the converted file, then type in your e-mail address. Click Convert Now afterward.
Wait for the conversion process to be complete. Then click on the Download button once the conversion is done.
Go to Document on the top, then click All Tools.
Select "PUB to PDF" under the "Convert to PDF" category.
Drag and drop your publisher file above the Choose File button or click on Choose File then select your publisher file.
Click on Add File and select your second publisher file. Then click the Convert button.
Once the conversion is done, click Download to save your converted files.
Go to Convert on the top menu and click Document.
Scroll down through the Supported Formats and click on PDF Converter on the right side of the screen.
Click the Choose File button and select your publisher file.
You can also drag and drop your file into the upload area instead of clicking the Choose File button.
Select PDF from the drop-down list and click the Convert button.
Click "Download .PDF" once the conversion is done. If you want to convert another publisher file, you may do so by clicking the Restart button.
Click on Document Converter and change the Output Format to PDF.
Click the Choose File button and select your publisher file.
In the Delivery Method, choose "Wait for conversion in browser" or "Email me a link to the document". Make sure to type in your e-mail address when you select the second delivery method. Then click Upload & Convert.
When the conversion is done, click on the PDF file link.
Then click on the download button on the upper-right corner of the online PDF viewer and save the PDF file.
Using Microsoft Publisher isn't necessary to open your publisher files. You can access them by converting them to PDF or by opening them through free publishing tools. Once you got your PDF, don't forget to check if it looks almost or exactly like your publisher file.
