Before You Get Started

Google Sheet is a spreadsheet program offered by Google as a part of the Google Docs Editors suite. It includes Google Docs, Google Drawings, Google Slides, Google Forms, etc. It incorporates your data with colorful charts and graphs. You can create Mind Map using Google Sheet in two ways:

  1. Using Google Sheet built-in drawing templates.
  2. Using Lucid chart add on of Google Sheet.

We will talk about both of them below in this article. Now before creating Mind Map in Google Sheet you have to ensure these things:

  1. First, think about the concept that you want to create a Mind Map about
  2. Then break it into smaller concepts and think about them.

Creating Mind Map in Google Sheet

  1. Open Google Sheet. Click on “Blank”. You will get a new untitled spreadsheet window.

Creating Mind Map in Google Sheet using Lucid chart

  1. Open Google Sheet and then click on “Add-ons”.

  3. After installing, again click on “Add-ons”. You will see the new option “Lucid chart Diagrams for Sheets”.

  4. Then click on “Insert Diagram”. Log in to Lucid chart. Lucid chart Diagrams will appear on the right side of the window.
  5. You can create a new diagram by clicking on the “Create” option.
