Delete A Discord Server

Right now, there are so many applications that can be used mainly for the purpose of communication – one of which is the Discord app. Though it is one of the notable applications to communicate with peers while making a tight-knit circle, managing a Discord server is not as easy as it sounds.

For instance, one of the problems commonly faced by administrators is managing old conversations, especially if it’s something that needs to be deleted immediately.

A lot of users like the application for its features like its voice chats and text chat functionality. Discord is primarily an application focused on gaming and such, but the  feature of its text chat has also become quite popular with business enterprises which allows it to be more relevant.

If you want to make a discord server disappear from your current lists of servers, then you don’t have to sweat over it as it is quite easy. The process is actually pretty simple with just a few clicks of your button.

If the two-factor authentication is enabled on your Discord application, then you have to know the six-digit authentication code in order to do this. You can find this code if you open the Google Authenticator app on your phone.

Though the steps are easy as it looks like, only the administrator can delete a Discord server. If you aren’t one of them, then you will not see the “Server Settings” option on the dropdown menu after you clicked on the arrow located beside the name of the server. Thus it would not permit you to delete the entire Discord server.

If you wished to delete the discord server on your server list and you are not one of the administrators, then your only option is to leave the server. That way, you will not be able to see the server again as if deleting it on your current server list.
