How to Delete a DiscordServer?

1. Open up your Discord application.
2. Move your mouse on the left side of the page where you can see the icon of the servers you are currently in. Click on the server you wished to delete.
3. Once you clicked on and selected the server you wished to delete, click on the arrowhead located beside the server name. A dropdown menu will be shown after. On the list, choose Server Settings.
   
4. Upon clicking on the Server Settings, a different menu will be shown. Move your mouse on the bottom left side of the screen. You can see an option in red letters indicating Delete Server. Click on it in order to delete the server.
5. Upon clicking on the Delete Server, a pop-up will appear on the screen indicating to enter the name of the server. Enter the server name exactly, together with the authentication code if ever the two-factor authorization on your application is enabled.
6. After that, click on the button indicating Delete Server. In just a few seconds, the server will be immediately deleted.

Though the steps are easy as it looks like, only the administrator can delete a Discord server. If you aren’t one of them, then you will not see the “Server Settings” option on the dropdown menu after you clicked on the arrow located beside the name of the server. Thus it would not permit you to delete the entire Discord server.

If you wished to delete the discord server on your server list and you are not one of the administrators, then your only option is to leave the server. That way, you will not be able to see the server again as if deleting it on your current server list.
